A Sandwich Break ft. Frank's Red Hot Pepper Sauce

Sometimes the beauty of seemingly ordinary can often be overlooked. In this case, it was a sandwich.

Last Sunday I was grateful for this gluten-free sandwich from Le Pain Quotidien filled with avocado, tomato and mozzarella. I was grateful because not only did they have gluten-free bread, but also because I was working all day and it was a Sunday and it got to about 2 pm and I was starving but had no food at the office. So I walked down the road and bought this bad boy along with some lemonade that I bought from a super sweet lemonade stand en route that reminded me so much of America. In America, especially in areas that are more rural or have front yards, kids and their parents host lemonade stands to raise money for anything from summer pocket money, to charities, to college funds. I loved seeing this near me as I have never seen this being done in London. It made me so happy, and it was also for charity. :)

What were you grateful for this week?
